This painting was inspired by a vision I had in meditation, as well as my interest in Vedic philosophy. The “Citta” is the concept of the Heart-Mind within Vedic Philosophy.The “Citta” is the lens between the inner light of awareness and the illusion of the human condition which leads to suffering. When this lens is clear, the third eye awakens our spiritual sight to see through the illusion and we are freed from suffering.
